Ellipsoid Volume Calculator

An ellipsoid volume calculator is a dedicated mathematical tool designed to determine the volume of an ellipsoid-shaped item, such as a prostate. To utilize this instrument, you must have the prostate's dimensions in terms of length, width, and height (measured in centimeters). The ellipsoid volume estimator can also be applied to the bladder and ellipsoidal lesions. This computation offers an approximate value. Upon entering the measurements into the ellipsoid volume estimator, it will compute both the ellipsoid and bullet volumes. If the prostate gland measures less than 55 mL, the bullet volume might provide a more precise assessment of the prostate's volume. If you possess the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in ng/mL, the ellipsoid volume estimator will additionally function as a PSA density calculator, supplying you with a PSA density figure.

Ellipsoid Volume and Bullet Volume Calculator Equations

The ellipsoid volume calculator uses two different equations for the ellipsoid volume and bullet volume:

• Ellipsoid volume: L x W x H x 𝜋/6
• Bullet volume: L x W x H x 5𝜋/24
