About Dr. Chris Mansi
Dr. Chris Mansi is a Cambridge/Queen’s Square trained neurosurgeon and the CEO and Co-Founder of Viz.ai. At Stanford Business School, he joined forces with machine learning post-doc Dr. David Golan to found Viz.ai with the goals of using artificial intelligence to make healthcare work faster and smarter, put patients first, and improve access to lifesaving therapies.
Under Chris’s leadership, Viz.ai created the first FDA-cleared AI Computer Aided Triage and the first CMS NTAP for AI as well as a second de novo by the FDA achieved in 2023 for ECG AI. Chris cares passionately about improving healthcare access, building and supporting great teams, transformative technologies, and improving provider experience to effect and scale better patient outcomes.
Chris has received various awards for his innovative vision for AI-powered care coordination, most recently winning AIMED’s AI in Healthcare Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2023.
He was also named one of the top 50 healthcare tech CEOs by the Healthcare Technology Report in June 2023. Viz.ai also recently won a top spot in Fast Company's 50 World’s Most Innovative Companies list of 2024.
