Dr. Binita Shah is an associate professor of medicine, interventional cardiologist, Director for research in Interventional Cardiology, and Director of the Department of Medicine Clinical Investigator Track at NYU. She is also an associate director of interventional cardiology and director of the transcatheter valve program at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System. She was a member of the 2025 ACS Guidelines writing committee.

Dr. Shah is an associate professor of medicine at NYU School of Medicine, director of research for interventional Cardiology at NYU Langone Health, and co-director of research for NYU Langone Heart. She is also an associate director of interventional cardiology and director of the transcatheter valve program at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System. Dr. Shah conducts clinical translational research and utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of coronary artery disease and acute coronary syndrome.
Dr. Shah serves on multiple national committees through the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Heart Association, including its Leadership Committee of the Council on Clinical Cardiology. She is also Associate Editor for Circulation Cardiovascular Intervention and serves on the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions Board of Trustees.
