About
Since 2025, Dr. Jeffrey Teuteberg has seved CareDx as Chief Medical Officer. Internationally recognized for his leadership and innovation in transplantation, he brings over two decades of clinical experience, including senior roles at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and, more recently, at Stanford University, where he served as the Associate Chief of Cardiology and Section Chief of Heart Failure, Cardiac Transplantation and Mechanical Circulatory Support. He is board-certified in Heart Failure/Cardiac Transplantation and Cardiovascular Medicine. Dr. Teuteberg has held prominent positions in the American Society of Transplantation and the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT), including President of ISHLT and chair of multiple key committees and task forces. In addition to his societal leadership roles, Dr. Teuteberg served as principal investigator of the SHORE study, advancing noninvasive rejection surveillance in heart transplantation.
