As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Jaimie Patel specializes in taking care of patients while they are in the hospital. Her role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center also includes serving as Unit Medical Director for Doan 9 East and Rhodes 9 West. Dr. Patel chose a career in medicine because she is passionate about serving others and doing what she can to ensure all patients have access to high-quality health care.
Dr. Patel is especially interested in helping educate the next generation of physicians. She is the assistant director of the Internal Medicine Clinical Track Program, and a clinical assistant professor. Dr. Patel has previously been honored with the Department of Internal Medicine’s Excellence in Teaching Award.
