Dr. John Wong is a primary care physician and clinical decision-making specialist at Tufts Medical Center, where he serves as Vice Chair of Academic Affairs, Chief of the Division of Clinical Decision Making, and Director of Comparative Effectiveness Research for the Tufts Clinical and Translational Science Institute. He is also a Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Wong’s research focuses on using decision analysis to help patients and physicians weigh the benefits and risks of different tests and treatments and make evidence-based, patient-centered healthcare decisions. He has contributed to national clinical guidelines and served with organizations including the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, American College of Cardiology, and American Heart Association.
