Dr. Laura Bridge is a general internal medicine physician who specializes in providing primary care to adult patients of all ages. Dr. Bridge focuses on helping patients maintain lifelong health through preventive care while also managing acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic medical conditions. She is passionate about building long-term relationships with her patients and empowering them to make informed decisions that support their overall health, longevity, and ability to live wholehearted lives.
Dr. Bridge also specializes in caring for patients with eating disorders, addressing both their primary health care needs and the medical complications associated with disordered eating. Through her work with patients and collaboration with community health care providers, Laura Bridge became deeply aware of the complex medical needs within this population and the importance of compassionate, experienced primary care. She is committed to providing weight-inclusive care to people of all body shapes and sizes.
After completing her internal medicine training at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dr. Bridge served as an active-duty military physician for eight years at the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine. In this role, she performed comprehensive medical evaluations for aviators, ground crew members, and special duty operators to assess medical risk and optimize their health and performance. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams that included medical specialists and mental health experts, Laura Bridge developed a holistic approach to care centered on helping patients live integrated, meaningful, and healthy lives.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Bridge enjoys biking, swimming, practicing yoga, reading, journaling, and planning travel adventures throughout the United States and Europe. Having grown up in New England, she values returning often to spend time with her family and close friends, including her parents, brother, sister-in-law, nephews, and extended circle of “nieces and nephews.”
