Dr. Michelle M. Kittleson is an advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist, Professor of Medicine, and Director of Heart Failure Research at the Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai. She specializes in advanced heart failure, heart transplantation, cardiac amyloidosis, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and general cardiology, with research interests focused on improving outcomes for patients with advanced cardiovascular disease. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Kittleson is a nationally recognized educator, author, and researcher who serves as Director of Postgraduate Medical Education in Heart Failure and Transplantation. She has contributed to national cardiovascular guidelines, authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and essays, and has received multiple honors for excellence in teaching, research, and patient care.
