Shawn Cohen, MD, is an internal medicine and addiction medicine specialist who treats people who use substances and with substance use disorders. He predominantly works in the hospital on the Yale Addiction Medicine Consult Service (YAMCS). He strives to make the hospital a more welcoming and comfortable place for people who use drugs and meet their needs wherever they are. Dr. Cohen is an assistant professor and clinician educator at Yale School of Medicine.
