About
Stephen Holt attended Columbia University’s College of Physicians & Surgeons and subsequently completed his residency training and Chief Residency at Yale's Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program before joining the program. He currently serves as the Associate Program Director for Ambulatory Education in the Primary Care Program. His areas of interest include addiction medicine, medical education, and the art and science of physical diagnosis. Current clinical activities include ambulatory clinic precepting, co-directing the Yale Addiction Recovery Clinic, and general medicine ward attending. He runs the Musculoskeletal Exam Workshop Series within the Primary Care training program, and co-directs the Racism, Bias, and Advocacy in Medicine Distinction Track. He has also created an extensive body of on-line educational content for Lecturio, MedMastery, and the American Society of Addiction Medicine, and regularly gives lectures on addiction medicine topics nationally and internationally.
