Dr. Vivek Kulkarni

Dr. Vivek Kulkarni is a clinical cardiologist and Director of Nuclear Cardiology at Cooper and Inspira Cardiac Care, where he provides comprehensive cardiovascular care with a focus on preventive cardiology, lipid disorders, heart failure, cardiomyopathies, cardiac sarcoidosis, cardiac amyloidosis, and pericardial disease. Board certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology, Dr. Kulkarni combines advanced cardiac imaging expertise with a patient-centered approach to diagnosing and managing complex heart conditions. He completed his medical degree at Yale School of Medicine, internal medicine training at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, where he also served as Chief Fellow.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Vivek Kulkarni is deeply committed to medical education and cardiovascular research. He serves as Assistant Professor of Medicine and Assistant Program Director of the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, where he mentors the next generation of cardiologists and co-directs the second-year cardiovascular curriculum. Dr. Kulkarni has received numerous honors for excellence in teaching and leadership, including the Penn Pearl Award and the Vincent and Bonnie Anderson Award for Outstanding Teaching. An active investigator and published author, he continues to advance the fields of preventive cardiology, cardiac imaging, and cardiovascular outcomes research while delivering evidence-based, personalized care to his patients.
