Dr. Eric Berg

Dr. Eric Berg is a board-certified Pediatric Otolaryngologist serving the Wellstar community since 2022. He provides comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care for children of all ages and prides himself on his ability to both treat and educate his patients and their families with compassion and expertise. He strives to provide evidence-based care via fully informed and shared decision making.

Dr. Berg earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He stayed at Emory to complete an internship in General Surgery and residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery. He decided to focus his practice on the care of children and completed his fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the prestigious Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Before joining Wellstar, Dr. Berg was an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Texas – Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, where he was actively engaged in research and the education of medical students and residents. He was recognized annually by his community and peers as a Dallas “Top Doc.” He then moved back to Atlanta to continue his practice prior to joining the Wellstar team and has continued to receive recognition as a “Top Doctor” by Atlanta Magazine and Georgia Trends magazine, a “Healthcare Hero” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, and as a “Mom Approved Pediatric Specialist” by Atlanta Parent magazine.

In addition to his clinical practice at Wellstar, Dr. Berg is an active member of both local and national organizations including the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology, the Georgia Society of Otolaryngology, and the Metro Atlanta Educational Society of Otolaryngology.
