About
Dr. Zhen Jason Qian is a pediatric otolaryngologist at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at UC San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Qian’s primary clinical interests include congenital ear anomalies and chronic ear infections.
As a clinician-scientist, he leads a research laboratory at UC San Diego focused on understanding the immunobiology of chronic otitis media using cutting-edge genomic technologies. Dr. Qian earned his MD from Columbia University and completed his residency training at Stanford University, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and pursued an additional postdoctoral research fellowship. He then completed his complex pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford.
