About
Dr. Joelle Ayoub received her Pharm.D. from Creighton University after achieving a B.S. in Biology at the
University of California San Diego. Following her pharmacy education, she completed an ambulatory
care focused PGY-1 residency at the University of Minnesota as well as a PGY-2 in ambulatory care and
academia with Oregon State University/Oregon Health & Science University. Both post graduate
residency training programs provided a focus on student education and management of chronic disease
states in the underserved patient population. Dr. Ayoub joined Western University of Health Sciences
College of Pharmacy as Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Administration in 2019. Her
research and practice interests include COPD, proton-pump inhibitors, diabetes and scholarship of
teaching and education.
