About
Dr. Jonathan Simmonds is an otolaryngologist and sinus surgeon who specializes in complex sinusitis, nasal polyps, revision sinus surgery, nasal obstruction, nasal deformity and allergies. He completed his fellowship in rhinology (sinus, nasal, and skull base surgery) at Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts Eye and Ear and retains an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School. He completed his medical school and residency at Tufts University School of Medicine where he graduated with honors (Alpha Omega Alpha) and earned several research awards including the New England Otolaryngology Society Resident Lecture Award as well as the 2017 and 2018 Collin S. Karmody Resident Award for Excellence in Research. He has published and presented numerous articles within the field of otolaryngology and continues to be actively involved in research.
In addition to seeing patients with sinus disease, Dr. Simmonds treats patients with structural nasal deformities that require functional rhinoplasty, septal deviation, complex epistaxis (nosebleeds), sinonasal or head and neck cancer, blocked tear ducts, problems with hearing and speech, sleep apnea, thyroid disease and all other conditions commonly treated by an ear, nose and throat doctor.
