Dr. Karen Kaufman is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with more than two decades of clinical experience and a special focus on women's health, hormone optimization, and functional medicine. After years in traditional obstetrics and gynecology, she expanded her practice to incorporate an integrative approach that addresses the root causes of chronic health concerns, helping patients achieve long-term wellness through personalized, evidence-based care. Her expertise includes menopause management, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, preventive medicine, and functional health strategies designed to optimize overall well-being.
A graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Dr. Kaufman completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Northwestern University. She serves on the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine Advisory Board and is Medical Director for MIORA within Life Time. Through her clinical practice, leadership, and commitment to patient education, Dr. Kaufman continues to advance a comprehensive, patient-centered model of care that integrates conventional medicine with innovative approaches to women's health and preventive medicine.
