About

Dr. Lauren Gunderman is a pediatric allergist and immunologist at Seattle Children's Hospital in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Gunderman completed her undergraduate, medical school and pediatric residency in Ohio. After completing Pediatric residency at the Ohio State University/Nationwide Children’s Hospital, she pursued allergy and immunology training at Northwestern and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. There she developed an interest in inborn errors of immunity, educating families about pediatric allergic diseases, and the advancement of new therapies in both immunologic and allergic conditions. Her Advanced Research year at Northwestern was focused on pediatric heart transplant patients’ immune phenotype and the impact on post-transplant outcomes.
