About

Dr. Martin J. Citardi, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained rhinologist focused on disorders of the nose and sinuses. His special clinical interests include refractory sinusitis, revision sinus surgery, CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) rhinorrhea, computer-aided (image-guided) surgery, and minimally invasive anterior skull base surgery

Dr. Citardi received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, followed by residency at Yale University School of Medicine. He then completed a fellowship at the Georgia Rhinology and Sinus Center.

Dr. Citardi, an internationally recognized rhinologist, serves as professor and chair of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UT Health Houston. He is certified by the American Board of Otorhinolaryngology, and a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Rhinologic Society.
