Dr. Vikram Sobti

Vikram Sobti, MD, MBA is a board certified radiologist with advanced training in imaging, management and informatics. His charge includes developing technologies to help throughput, efficiency and interoperability within the medical and healthcare fields.

Dr. Sobit is the President and Chairman of the Board of Sobtech LLC. Sobtech LLC is a multi discipline company specializing in trading, hedge fund management, teleradiology, consulting services, implementation, job placement and administrative help. Radiology is at the core of his efforts, and in addition to his role as an aspiring thought leader and informaticist, he practices radiology in Chicago, IL and reads all subspeciality images within Body Imaging.

After graduating with honors from University of Illinois, College of Engineering with a major in biomedical engineering and minors in chemistry, electrical engineering, and physiology Dr. Sobti obtained his medical doctorate from Rush University Medical Center. He then completed his residency and chief residency years from John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County. There he helped in efforts related to public health and imaging for the under-served. Dr. Sobti then matriculated to University of Chicago Hospitals with a fellowship in Advanced Abdominal Imaging and advanced rotations in Medical/clinical informatics. His initiatives during his advanced rotations included spearheading efforts to attain meaningful use and PQRS initiatives to hospital outpatient systems. While completing his fellowhips, Dr. Sobti completed his MBA from the Booth School of Business, in efforts to relate the healthcare economics of imaging and options for national interoperability of images.
