Dr. Angela Chaudhari

Dr. Angela Chaudhari, MD is board-certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and currently serves as an associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She currently serves as the Chief of Gynecology and Gynecologic Surgery at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Chaudhari received her medical doctorate from Northeast Ohio Medical University College of Medicine in 2000, and then completed her residency at Washington University in St Louis in 2004. She then completed a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Florida Hospital Medical Center in 2005. She also completed training in organizational change and leadership coaching at Northwestern’s University School of Education and Social Policy (SESP) in 2020.

Dr. Chaudhari specializes in minimally invasive gynecological surgery, with her clinical work focusing on uterine fibroids, endometriosis and gender affirming hysterectomy. She is also a founding member of the Oversight Committee of the Gender Pathways program at Northwestern Medicine, and serves as the director of the P2P Network, a physician peer support program helping support physicians through adverse events and physician burnout at Northwestern Medicine. Her research encompasses interests in physician wellness, surgical coaching and education, simulation education and leadership skills development in the healthcare space.
