Xiaoyue Mona Guo, MD, is a gynecologic oncologist at Keck Medicine of USC. Dr. Guo uses a comprehensive approach to treat various forms of gynecologic cancer, such as ovarian, uterine and cervical cancers. She specializes in minimally invasive and open surgical techniques for cancer treatment and also delivers chemotherapy. She understands being diagnosed with these types of conditions can be a stressful experience, and her patients can rely on her for support and exceptional care. Dr. Guo prioritizes honest communication and education, and she always takes the time to ensure patients and their loved ones understand their diagnosis and individualized treatment options.Dr. Guo’s research interests are on strategies to enhance patient-provider interactions. Her award-winning research has also been widely published in peer-reviewed journals. In addition to her clinical and research work, Dr. Guo is committed to educating the next generation of gynecologic surgeons and serves as both the assistant fellowship director of gynecologic oncology and an assistant professor of clinical obstetrics and gynecology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.
