About
Dr. Noam Smorgick is an experienced Gynecologist who specializes in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and is a Board member of the Israeli Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy. Dr. Smorgick began her medical education at the Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem, Israel when in 1999 she graduated (with distinction) with a B.Med.sc and in 2003 as MD when she also received an M.Sc degree in cell biology. Following an internship at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center she took up her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Shamir Medical Center, Tel Aviv. During the final year of her residency, she held the position of Chief Resident. In 2010 Dr. Smorgick left Israel for the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) USA where she completed two clinical fellowships. The first in minimally invasive Gynecologic Surgery (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic) and the second in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology
In 2012 Dr. Smorgick returned to Israel as Senior Attending Physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Shamir Medical Center and in 2017 became Director of the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Division.Since 2003 Dr. Smorgick has been involved in teaching Obstetrics and Gynecology. From lecturing and tutoring at the Sackler school of medicine in Tel Aviv before being appointed Clinical Instructor and then Advanced Clinical Trainee in Obstetrics and Gynecology whilst at the University of Michigan. Upon returning to Israel, she was appointed Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynecology (again at the Sackler school of medicine), Clinical Assistant Professor, and in 2020 Clinical Associate Professor.
