About

Dr. Oluwateniola “Teni” Brown is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed her fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Northwestern University in 2021 following a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University.

Dr. Brown’s clinical interests include the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and fistulas. Her research interests focus on health and healthcare disparities, improving surgical outcomes for pelvic floor disorders, and the intersection of bias and racism in medicine and medical education. She is passionate about delivering quality, compassionate, and equitable care. Likewise, Dr. Brown believes in partnering with her patients to empower them and provide education and care plans that meet their individual needs.
