About

Dr. Alan Lee is a board-certified radiation oncologist specializing in brachytherapy, with clinical expertise in the treatment of thoracic, genitourinary, gynecologic, and dermatologic cancers using advanced modalities such as image-guided brachytherapy (IGBT), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), and external beam radiation therapy (EBRT).

He completed his fellowship in brachytherapy at UCLA’s Department of Radiation Oncology in 2019, following his residency in radiation oncology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2018. Dr. Lee earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2013 and completed a transitional internship at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in 2014.

His research focuses on improving both outcomes and quality of life for patients with thoracic, genitourinary, and gynecologic cancers. He has served as principal investigator or collaborator on multiple clinical trials and studies aimed at advancing care in these areas.

Dr. Lee was drawn to radiation oncology for its unique balance of cutting-edge technology, compassionate patient care, and a shared fight against cancer as the primary adversary. He's committed to supporting patients through every step of their treatment with clarity, empathy, and individualized care.
