Dr. Wade T. Iams, M.D., M.S.C.I., is a board-certified medical oncologist and Director of Lung Cancer Research at Tennessee Oncology, where he focuses on improving outcomes for patients with lung cancer. He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan, completed his internal medicine residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and pursued fellowship training in medical oncology at Northwestern University. He also holds a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation. Dr. Iams specializes in immunotherapy, targeted treatments, and precision medicine, with research centered on biomarker development and advancing personalized treatment strategies. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presents nationally on innovations in lung cancer care.
Dr. Iams is committed to translating emerging research into practical, patient-centered treatment plans.
