About
Dr. Amit Patel is a urologic oncologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of urologic cancers, including bladder, kidney, prostate, and testicular cancer. Dr. Patel earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2004. He completed his urology training at the Cleveland Clinic's Glickman Urological & Kidney Institute, where he served as Chief Resident in Urology. He then pursued advanced fellowship training at the University of Chicago in Urologic Oncology and Advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic Oncology, further developing his expertise in the surgical management of genitourinary cancers. Throughout his career, Dr. Patel has remained actively involved in the field of urology through professional organizations including the American Urological Association, the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network, the Bladder Cancer Think Tank, and the Society of Robotic Surgery.
