About

Anjali Kapur, M.D., is a fellowship-trained urologist specializing in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. Her practice is dedicated to helping women overcome pelvic floor disorders with compassionate, evidence-based care.

Dr. Kapur has deep expertise in the surgical and medical management of conditions including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, voiding dysfunction, and neuro-urology. She offers advanced pelvic floor reconstruction using both minimally invasive robotic techniques and traditional vaginal surgery, tailoring the approach to each patient's unique needs and goals. Dr. Kapur earned her medical degree at Stony Brook University School of Medicine and completed her Urology residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. During her training, she was nationally recognized with an award for excellence in female pelvic medicine by the American Urogynecologic Society. She then completed a specialized fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the renowned NYU Langone Health.

An active clinical researcher, Dr. Kapur’s work focuses on optimizing individualized treatments for overactive bladder, including bladder botox, sacral neuromodulation, and tibial nerve stimulation. Her research has been published in top academic journals and presented at national conferences.
