About Dr. Danielle Velez
Danielle Velez Leitner is the Director of Men’s Health and an Assistant Professor within the Division of Urology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. She is a NJ native, having grown up in Middlesex County. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Material Science and Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University, and then graduated from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her Urology residency at Brown University and then a fellowship in Male Infertility and Sexual Dysfunction at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Sexual health and infertility conversations can sometimes feel embarrassing. Dr. Velez Leitner and her team strive to make patients and their partners feel comfortable from the get-go. She believes in listening closely to patients’ concerns to craft a goal-oriented and individualized treatment plan. Her mission is to help patients build their families and recover/strengthen their relationships.
