About

Dr. Gagan Prakash is chief of Urologic Oncology and professor in the department of Surgical Oncology at the Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai. He is also the secretary of the Urology Disease Management Group.He has been practicing dedicated Urologic oncology at this high-volume tertiary care cancer center in India for more than a decade with keen interest in management of penile, testicular and bladder cancer. He is serving on the editorial board of the SIU Journal. He has co-authored chapters in textbooks of Urology and surgical oncology and has around a hundred Urooncology focussed publications in peer review journals. He is member of the penile and testicular cancer subcommittees of SIU and EAU. He is actively involved in the proceedings of Global Society of rare GU Tumors, Robotic Urology Forum and Urooncology subspeciality cell of Urological Society of India and mentors for the safe operating room workshops in India. His areas of current research include clinically node negative penile cancer, intravesical therapy, PSMA PET based lymphadenectomy pathways and phytopharmaceuticals in radiation cystitis.
