About

Dr. Jason M. Kim is a clinical professor of urology and a specialist in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Stony Brook Medicine. He earned his MD from the School of Medicine at Stony Brook University Medical Center, completed his urology residency there, and went on to complete a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center. Dr. Kim provides expert care for pelvic floor issues including urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, and recurrent UTIs, offering tailored treatment plans that range from behavioral therapies and pharmacotherapy to in‑office procedures and surgery. He has received multiple awards, including Surgeon of Excellence and Excellence in Resident/Fellow Mentoring, and has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly and Newsday.

Dr. Kim approaches care with a focus on helping patients overcome conditions that can limit daily activities and quality of life. He is also involved in outcomes research on overactive bladder and urinary incontinence and has contributed to clinical trials investigating neuromodulation techniques. Outside of clinical work, he mentors trainees and contributes to advancing urologic care through research and education.
