About
Dr. Jason Wynberg is a board-certified urologist at Holy Name. He treats people with general urology conditions such as kidney stones, urinary problems, and sexual dysfunction. He has additional expertise in overactive bladder and prostate enlargement. Dr. Wynberg’s approach to care is to treat all patients like family, using the least amount of treatment necessary to return them to their rich, full lives.
Dr. Wynberg earned his medical degree at the University of Toronto and completed his residency at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. From there, he completed a fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology (ABU).
An expert in complex kidney stone surgery, Dr. Wynberg originated a minimally invasive procedure for removing stones that are large, firm, and resistant to other treatments. He is also an avid researcher and innovator who has developed patented medical products, lectured and performed live surgery at conferences around the world, and written numerous journal articles.
