About
Dr. Mohummad Minhaj Siddiqui, MD, is a board-certified urologist. He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in 2006. He then completed his residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, and a fellowship in Urologic Oncology with the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center.
Dr. Siddiqui specializes in surgical management of urologic cancers with a particular focus on prostate and bladder cancers. He is dedicated to providing the highest quality, cutting-edge care to his patients while minimizing the impact of treatment on quality of life.
Dr. Siddiqui focuses on complex cases such as patients with extensive medical histories or aggressive tumors. When appropriate, he uses the da Vinci robotic surgical system, which allows surgeons to perform complex, minimally invasive procedures with precision. However, he recognizes that in some cases, management or treatment of a disease without surgery or with minimal intervention may be the best option for the patient.
On multiple occasions, Dr. Siddiqui has been named a "Top Doctor" in the prostate cancer surgery and urology fields by Baltimore magazine. He is also a past Baltimore Business Journal Top 40 under 40 awardee.
Dr. Siddiqui joined the faculty at University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2014. He has held leadership roles with the American Urologic Association, American College of Surgeons, Commission on Cancer, Society of Basic Urologic Research and American College of Radiology.
