About
Dr. Omar Soto-Aviles is a urologist based in Bayamón, PR, specializing in reconstructive urology, male sexual dysfunction, male urinary incontinence and GU trauma . He completed his medical education and residencies at the University of Puerto Rico, with further training in reconstructive urology and GU trauma at the Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Soto-Aviles is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and the founder of the Caribbean Center for Reconstructive Urology. He also serves as an Attending Physician at the Veterans Affairs Caribbean Healthcare System. His experience encompasses areas including urinary incontinence, Peyronie's disease, genital trauma, benign prostatic hyperplasia, and neurogenic bladder dysfunction. Dr. Soto-Aviles has published several articles, one of which has been cited 30 times, and has received honors such as the Best Teaching Staff award in 2016.
