About Dr. Ricardo Sánchez-Ortiz
Dr. Ricardo Sánchez-Ortiz is an oncological urologist dedicated to the diagnosis and management of prostate cancer. He has an interest in innovative modalities such as the UroNav transperineal prostate biopsy using MRI, robotic prostatectomy and genetic counseling for hereditary prostate cancer. He completed his training in urology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and the subspecialty in oncological surgery at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. Ricardo is an Assistant Professor in the Urology Division of the University of Puerto Rico and Adjunct Associate Professor at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center.
