Dr. Robert E. Brannigan is a board-certified urologist and Professor at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where he specializes in andrology, male infertility, and reproductive urology. Practicing at Northwestern Medicine, his clinical expertise includes fertility preservation in men with cancer, microsurgery, testicular failure, varicocele treatment, vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, and testicular sperm extraction (TESE). Known for his patient-centered and highly communicative approach, Dr. Brannigan focuses on helping men navigate complex reproductive and urologic conditions through individualized, evidence-based care and advanced surgical techniques.

Dr. Robert E. Brannigan earned his medical degree from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, completed residency training at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, and pursued fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine. Board-certified in urology, he combines academic leadership with a collaborative clinical practice that emphasizes both innovation and compassionate care. In addition to treating patients, he contributes to physician education and public awareness surrounding male reproductive health through media appearances, teaching, and leadership within the field of reproductive medicine.
