About
C. Shawn West, MD is a urologist with McIver Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. A native Floridian, Dr. West is a graduate of Florida State University. He attended medical school at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He continued his training at the University of Florida College of Medicine where he completed his Urology residency. Following his urological training, Dr. West joined McIver Clinic in 2008. He has served as Chief of Urology at St Vincent’s Southside Hospital and on the Robotic Steering committee at both Baptist South Hospital and St Vincent’s Southside Hospital. He is a consultant to the State of Florida, Department of Health. He has also served as a laparoscopic surgical proctor for Covidien Medical. Dr. West is a Center of Excellence and a surgical proctor/preceptor for Urolift, a minimally invasive treatment for BPH.
