Achal Sahai, MD, is a cardiologist at Ochsner Health Center - Metairie. Dr. Achal Sahai received his bachelor of science from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his post-graduate training in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Sahai is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has additional board certifications from the American Board of Vascular Medicine in endovascular medicine and from the American Board of Echocardiography in adult echocardiography. He is a board-certified Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He brings great expertise and a high level of patient care. In addition to treating all cardiac and vascular disease processes, he prioritizes the physician-patient relationship.
