About

Dr. Amit Srivastava pursued his medical school education through an exclusive, accelerated BS/MD program in which he completed his undergraduate training in two years. He then completed his internal medicine residency as well as a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Cincinnati, where he served as chief fellow. Dr. Srivastava pursued an additional fellowship in interventional cardiology at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. During his interventional fellowship and his first year in practice, Dr. Srivastava was an integral member of the teaching faculty.


He has been involved in clinical research by participating in numerous clinical trials including EARLY-ACS, IMPROVE-IT, TRA-PCI, and CURRENT/OASIS 7. Dr. Srivastava is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology. His current practice scope includes complex coronary and peripheral vascular interventions, carotid artery stenting, abdominal aortic aneurysm endoluminal graft repair, and varicose vein treatment.
