About

Dr. Anna Alguersuari Cabiscol is the daughter and sister of physicians and knew from a very young age that she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. She studied Medicine at the University of Barcelona and developed a strong enthusiasm for her chosen specialty by the end of her degree. Throughout her professional career, she has worked across nearly all areas of radiology, with a particular passion for disciplines that allow for close, direct interaction with patients. She currently serves as Head of the Interventional Radiology Unit at the General University Hospital of Catalonia and the Mutua University Hospital of Terrassa, as well as Coordinator of the Corporate Radiology Service at Juaneda Hospitals. In addition to her clinical work, she is deeply committed to teaching. She has worked as a professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the International University of Catalonia, has overseen the training of residents and fellows in Interventional Vascular Radiology at HU Parc Taulí, and has contributed to doctoral programs at various universities.
