About

Dr. Francis Kang is an interventional radiologist with University Radiology in New Jersey, where he specializes in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of vascular and nonvascular conditions. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center before completing a general surgery internship at the University of Colorado, a diagnostic radiology residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and an interventional radiology fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, in collaboration with UTHealth Houston, Texas Children's Hospital, and Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center. Dr. Kang is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Interventional Radiology. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves on the Board of Managers at University Radiology and is the Interim Program Director of the Independent and Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency Program at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he contributes to the education and training of future interventional radiologists.
