About

Dr. Hannes Nordmeyer is a leading specialist in interventional neuroradiology in Germany and in Europe. Since 2023, he has been Chief Physician of the Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology at the Solingen Hospital. Dr. Nordmeyer uses only modern and advanced treatment methods, which ensures that his patients have access to the best medical technology.
Dr. Nordmeyer began his medical education in 1997, enrolling at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Witten/Herdecke, Germany. He then continued his studies at the renowned Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and at Linköping University in Sweden. After completing his studies in 2003, he started his medical career in the Department of Neurosurgery and Neurology at the renowned Alfried Krupp Hospital in Essen, Germany, where he worked from 2004 to 2007. He then continued his work in the Department of Interventional Neuroradiology at the same hospital from 2007 to 2009.

In 2008, Dr. Nordmeyer received his MD degree for his dissertation on "Activation of working memory in patients in the early stages of multiple sclerosis - an fMRI study". He then moved to a new position in the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the HELIOS Clinic in Wuppertal, Germany, where he worked successfully from 2009 to 2011.
From 2011 to 2018, Dr. Nordmeyer worked as a leading physician in the Department of Interventional Neuroradiology at the Alfried Krupp Hospital in Essen. In 2017, he also started teaching at the Medical School of the University of Witten/Herdecke University, Germany. From 2018 to 2023, he served as Head of the Neurointerventional Department at St. Lukas Hospital in Solingen, Germany.

Dr. Nordmeyer continues to actively contribute to medicine by applying the latest advances and technologies in his practice, making him one of the most respected and sought-after specialists in his field.
