About

Dr. John Qiao is the Founder and CEO of a Houston-based med-tech start-up, RadioClash Ltd. Co. He and his team are developing a minimally invasive surgical tool called the Electro-Embolizer Device (EED), which uses electricity to deliver small-molecule drugs directly to solid tumors. The device is designed to help facilitate a novel cancer treatment approach known as combination electroporation therapy (CET). He is optimistic that CET will improve and expand interventional treatment options for cancer patients, including accelerating the development of personalized cancer vaccines. In addition to his entrepreneurial work, he is a resident physician in interventional radiology in the joint University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center program.
