Dr. Keith Pereira is a vascular interventional radiologist who treats patients of all ages throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area using minimally invasive procedures. He specializes in treating blocked arteries and veins, uterine fibroids, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), knee osteoarthritis, and hemorrhoids. Among the first physicians in the region to perform procedures through an artery in the wrist, Dr. Pereira offers innovative approaches for treatments such as cancer therapies and uterine fibroid embolization that can improve patient comfort and support faster recovery. He also performs advanced interventional oncology procedures for patients with primary and metastatic liver, kidney, and lung cancers, providing minimally invasive treatment options that may serve as alternatives or complements to surgery and systemic therapies.
Dr. Pereira is actively involved in national clinical trials focused on deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), and embolization therapies. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Pereira is a professor in the Department of Radiology, Division of Interventional Radiology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is a frequent invited speaker at national and international scientific meetings, symposiums, and educational webinars. Dr. Pereira is a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology (FSIR) and a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association.
