About

Dr. Miller is an associate professor of radiology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. As the director of interventional radiology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, his role includes building the clinical practice to become a comprehensive consult service that addresses the multiple needs of interventional patients and their referring physicians.

Dr. Miller is board certified in interventional and diagnostic radiology. He specializes in peripheral artery disease (PAD), chronic venous occlusions, vascular malformations, osteoporosis and ablative treatment of lung and renal tumors. He performs embolization procedures, sclerotherapy, venous thrombectomy, venous and arterial stenting, kyphoplasty, vena cava filter placements and retrievals, Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt (TIPS), palliative interventions and thermal ablation of lung and kidney tumors.

His areas of interest include kidney and lung cancers, venous and gynecologic conditions, vascular malformations and critical limb ischemia.

Dr. Miller completed his undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University. He received his medical degree at Hahnemann University, now part of Drexel University. He completed residency in diagnostic radiology at Duke University, where he also completed a fellowship in interventional radiology. He is a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology.
