About
Dr. Noor Ahmad is board certified in diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology. He is an associate professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an attending radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Ahmad serves as vice chair of clinical operations for the Department of Radiology.
Dr. Ahmad has expertise in performing minimally invasive procedures to manage and treat a wide array of clinical conditions ranging from cancer care to men's and women's health. His particular focus and interests are in the treatment of blood clots within legs (deep venous thrombosis) and lungs (pulmonary embolism). Related to this, Dr. Ahmad is an expert in complex removal of inferior vena cava (IVC) filters.
