About

Noble M. Maleque, MD, FHM, FACP is Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine, Associate Program Director for the J. Willis Hurst Internal Medicine Residency Program, and Medical Student Crumpler Society Advisor at Emory University’s School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. He completed his undergraduate training at Vanderbilt University in Molecular Biology and Chemistry, and his medical training at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at University of Washington Affiliated Hospitals followed by a year as Chief Resident at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. He is board certified in internal medicine.

In the Department of Medicine, Dr. Maleque serves on the department’s Residency Leadership Committee and Residency Clinical Competency Committee.. He was awarded the Division of Hospital Medicine Education Award in 2012 and the Teaching Award 2014. He was awarded the national ACP Outstanding Educator Award for Residents and Fellows in 2022. His interests include medical education around clinical reasoning.

Dr. Maleque does his clinical practice as a hospitalist at Emory University Hospital Midtown.
