Dr. Jamal Mourad

Jamal Mourad, D.O., is a board-certified gynecologist with expertise in minimally invasive surgery and complex gynecological conditions. He is also the Assistant Program Director for the Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Mourad attended medical school at The New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He obtained training in OBGYN and started his academic career at the University of Arizona College of Medicine — Phoenix.


Dr. Mourad's clinical practice focuses on the treatment of patients with gynecologic disorders that require surgical care. He specializes in Minimally Invasive Surgery and has a special interest in the following areas: Uterine niche/isthmocele, endometriosis, fibroids, and trans-abdominal cerclage placement. His research interests include: clinical research focused on improving patient outcomes.
