About
Dr. Mary Kate (MK) LoPiccolo joined the Division of Medical Gentics and Genomics in August 2023. Her clinical interests include fatty acid oxidation disorders, lysosomal storage disorders, newborn screening, and bioethics.
She attended medical school at the University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed a combined Pediatrics/Medical Genetics residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. LoPiccolo completed a fellowship in Medical Biochemical Genetics at the University of Colorado/Children's Hospital of Colorado before returning to Mount Sinai as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences.
