About Dr. Charles Peyton
Dr. Peyton is an Assistant Professor in the UAB Department of Urology at the Heersink School of Medicine. He completed undergraduate at Wake Forest University followed by medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed a Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center and join UAB in 2019. Dr. Peyton is a fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in the management of complex urologic cancers with an interest in quality of life, therapeutic, and outcomes research related to urologic cancer. Throughout residency and fellowship training, Dr. Peyton has focused on kidney, bladder and testis cancer research. His clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis, management and treatment of complex bladder, kidney and testicular cancers. He specializes in both minimally invasive and open surgical techniques and applies a multidisciplinary, personalized approach to the management of urologic cancers. Currently Dr. Peyton has a robust surgical practice with frequent advanced, complex renal mass patients and advanced testicular cancer patients.
