Steven Young, MD, specializes in hepatology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Young received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Following this, he completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then completed his fellowships in gastroenterology and transplant hepatology at UAB. Dr. Young is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2020. Dr. Young's expertise is in hepatology and liver transplantation.
